Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Orbis Scope handles basic account, proposal, technical, and support information. Orbis Scope is professional proposal software for contractors, property service providers, field service professionals, and related service businesses.
This page is provided for MVP/pre-sale readiness and may be updated as the product, billing, payments, analytics, and legal requirements evolve.
1. Information users provide
Orbis Scope may store account information, proposal information, client-facing proposal details, service descriptions, prices, notes, selected templates, proposal language, currency, and other information entered by the user.
2. Client and proposal information
Users are responsible for the information they enter into proposals, including client names, project locations, service details, prices, materials, notes, and conditions. Users should avoid entering sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for the proposal.
3. Public proposal links
Public proposal pages are accessible through unique public tokens. Anyone with the link may be able to view the proposal. Users should share proposal links carefully and only with intended recipients.
4. PDFs and documents
PDFs may be generated on demand from proposal data. Orbis Scope may avoid permanent PDF storage in early versions and may generate PDF files dynamically when requested.
5. Technical information
Orbis Scope may process technical information such as IP address, browser details, timestamps, request logs, rate-limit data, security events, errors, and usage information needed to operate, secure, debug, and improve the platform.
6. Payments and billing data
Live checkout and contractor payment features may not be enabled in the current version. If payment features are added, payment processing may involve third-party providers. Orbis Scope should not directly store full card numbers or sensitive payment credentials.
7. AI-assisted features
If AI-assisted features are used, proposal content or user-provided inputs may be processed to organize, rewrite, translate, summarize, or improve proposal text. Users should review AI output before using it and should not enter unnecessary sensitive information.
8. Data sharing
Orbis Scope does not sell personal data. Information may be shared only as needed to operate the service, comply with legal requirements, prevent abuse, protect security, provide support, or use necessary infrastructure and service providers.
9. Data security
Orbis Scope uses reasonable technical and operational measures to protect account and proposal data. No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. User responsibility
Users are responsible for keeping account credentials secure, sharing public proposal links carefully, and ensuring they have permission to enter client or project information into the platform.
11. Updates
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Orbis Scope evolves, including when billing, payment, analytics, AI, or additional account features are introduced.
12. Contact
For privacy questions, contact Orbis Scope through the official support or contact channel provided by the platform.
