Refund Policy
Last updated: May 29, 2026
This Refund Policy explains the basic refund approach for Orbis Scope. Orbis Scope is professional proposal software for contractors, property service providers, field service professionals, and related service businesses.
This page is provided for MVP/pre-sale readiness and may be updated as billing, subscriptions, AI credits, payment features, taxes, and provider requirements evolve.
1. Current payment status
Live checkout and real payment processing may not be enabled in the current version. Until live billing is enabled, no real subscription charge may be processed through Orbis Scope checkout.
2. SaaS billing
When SaaS billing is enabled, subscriptions, plan access, AI credits, usage limits, invoices, taxes, and payment methods may be handled directly by Orbis Scope or by authorized billing providers.
3. Refund review
Refunds are not automatic and may require review. Eligibility may depend on account status, timing, local law, payment provider rules, usage, support history, abuse prevention, and operational costs.
4. Relevant usage
Relevant usage may affect refund eligibility. Relevant usage can include proposal generation, PDF generation, public proposal links, proposal views, client actions, accept/contact flows, AI usage, translations, payment-related actions, or other meaningful use of the platform.
5. Operational and provider costs
Some costs may be non-refundable where allowed by applicable rules. These may include payment processing costs, provider fees, taxes, chargeback costs, operational handling, fraud prevention, administrative review, or other costs already incurred.
6. Contractor payments
Future contractor payment features, if enabled, will be separate from SaaS billing. Orbis Scope is not an escrow service and does not guarantee client payment, contractor performance, service quality, dispute outcome, or refund of contractor service payments.
7. Chargebacks and abuse
Orbis Scope may restrict, suspend, or review accounts involved in abusive refunds, chargeback abuse, fraud, misleading activity, or attempts to bypass billing, plan, usage, or access controls.
8. Cancellations
Cancellation rules may depend on the active plan, billing cycle, provider, subscription status, and product configuration. Cancelling a plan may stop future renewals but may not automatically refund previous usage or charges.
9. Local legal requirements
Nothing in this policy is intended to override mandatory consumer protection laws or payment rules that apply in a specific jurisdiction. Where required, applicable law may control.
10. Contact
For refund or billing questions, contact Orbis Scope through the official support or contact channel provided by the platform.
